While prizes factor in, the most significant dividends are a sense of accomplishment and the strong bonds that develop in the enjoined spirit of the race. These nights have become a staple of the bar's DNA, drawing both regulars and out-of-towners excited to flaunt their nerd knowledge.

Yellow Geek Bar has every day cosplay and it is dazzling. On themed nights, that takes the form of a literal breathing, living convention at the bar. You watch people come in costume as their favorite anime heroes, or comic book characters, or classics of cinema. From the nostalgic, synth-heavy, 80's synthwave that feels straight out of the dirty, neon-specked backstreets of a cyperpunk dystopia to the grand, orchestral, epic movie-like soundtracks that veer into the fantasy world, it's a cornucopia of styles. The music helps set the mood for the conversations, debates and activities in the bar, too. It creates a sound and vibe that allows patrons to consider themselves a part of the hyper-costumed Yellow Geek Bar universe. The bar's food menu is equally inspired. Also 'Hobbit-sized' snacks, sampled straight from the robust meals enjoyed in the Shire from the 'Lord of the Rings,' ideal for sharing (or not) with friends. Of these, there is a dizzyingly long list of burgers, named for iconic video-game characters, with toppings as distinctive and various as the characters themselves. And of course a geek-themed bar has to deliver on galactic desserts, bombastic and starkly flavored when it's as if extracted from the stars.

VII. Summarize

Nor does Yellow Geek Bar succumb to the perils of being a banal bar, either. It's also a community institution, a gathering place for nerds of all stripes to exchange interests, knowledge and lifelong memories. If you are hardcore for that certain franchise or casual watcher who just want canon (or not), or want such a different community feeling, well, the Yellow Geek Bar will give you all that, and many much more. It is a home of belonging - all are greeted with open arms, and the unique and unusual are welcomed, not just tolerated but welcomed. These are new lines, new diversified worlds that are like sound jackpot of collector's wishes - as long as one geega clears soloists and sharp virtuosos out of the playing space with a sweeping stroke where he gathers, and he soars into the yellow geek bar where the phenomenon of gluttony is born.
