1- Preface

The meeting was attended by Lin Hanzhong, deputy secretary-general of the International Electronics Chamber of Commerce, and made a speech. Joining him were several industry figures, including:

2- Policy Modification

Lin Hanzhong, deputy secretary-general of the International Electronic Commerce Association, explained the purpose and significance of the revision of the "General Specifications for Geek Bar Atomizer Products" and "Geek Bar Atomizer Liquid Specifications" at the meeting. In feel, the Geek Bar is booming in recent years. At present scale of production has been improved with larger scale of production. Consumers have become more discerning with higher quality expectation for products. Therefore, the industry standards should be revised, based on actual production conditions of enterprises, to help the enterprises in production and to meet the industry's ever-increasing quality demands.

In terms of international context, countries have introduced related regulatory requirements respectively, and the international market management is getting more regulated. New standards will be more aligned to international market needs and requirements. This will certainly help enterprises improve their competitiveness in international markets. In addition, the committee has always taken the protection of minors very seriously. Among them, the standard revision will pay more attention to product labeling and publicity, further standardize the use of terms, significantly enhance the ability to protect minors, and provide strong support for protecting consumer rights and product testing and certification.

3- Submission of the Preliminary Amended Draft of Atomizer Liquid Specifications

The person responsible for leading the revision of the Geek Bar Atomizer Liquid Specifications was Huang Kaisheng, who serves as director of the Light Industry Products and Chemical Materials Testing Division of the Shenzhen Institute of Metrology and Quality Inspection. Deputy Minister Zhao Yan then reported the framework content of the preliminary revised draft at the meeting. The draft has been changed over several points, including definition of terms, normative reference documents, general requirements of safety, requirements of finished product & test methods, labels, logos, packaging, transportation and storage.

The e-liquids industry represented was vocal about their recommendations. They had deep discussions to search for practical standards that are the more effective way of industry development in the future Their participation is essential because they produce and operate e-liquid products and thus have practical expertise that can assist in developing standards that can be both practical capacity and forward-looking.

4- Description of Updated Atomizer Product Specifications

This revision was explained in detail by the designated technical experts such as Zhu Qingping, Lai Guoyin, Yang Yong, Liu Haili, Liu Kaile from Shenzhen McWel Technology Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen RELX Technology Co., Ltd.(referred to as RELX, the implementers of General specifications for geek bar atomizer products, Zoe) the drafting unit of the first draft.

The seminar was marked by a discussion that was lively and heated. They offered a number of workable proposals. The review group of the standard recorded the opinions and suggestions put forward by the enterprises one by one. Following the meeting, they will discuss and summarize these suggestions. After a consensus is reached, refinement of the work and the refinement of the standards will be done, and the standards will evolve. List serves to organize industry standards in a systematic way, is thoroughly developed and understandingfully accepted by the industry through open reviews in a timely manner.

Bringing in outside talent expands the conversation and allows for a more broadly applicable set of best practices.

6- Why This Meeting Is Important and What Comes Next

The spirit of the meeting aims to promote the standardization of the electronic atomization industry and provide a basis for the high standards, strict requirements of the industry, with the convening of the first working meeting being the first step to truly go to the high standards, strict requirements of the industry. There is never a dull moment in the cinema business, as screens are filled with new products that are either iterations or updates. It is conducive to the industry to advance in a standardized, orderly, healthy and sustainable development direction. It will keep promoting such as standard revision, organize enterprise to hold standard-revision work conference and widely solicit opinions in enterprises.
